When it comes to Social Media, you may be tempted to go with a “DIY” approach. After all, it saves money and really — how hard is it to post on Facebook.  Heck, most people’s grandmas are doing it, right? Well, not necessarily.

Not surprisingly, we look at it a bit differently.  This isn't HGTV where homes get built by amateurs in 30 minutes. Whether you are a candidate for office or running a business, it is your message and your reputation at stake. Just as social media is our expertise, knowing who to hire and when to hire so you can do your real job needs to be part of your expertise. When it comes to social media for business or as a candidate, the options to effectively connect with supporters or customers and make sure the posts or ads are appearing in the news feed requires research and experience.

There is a plethora of options to be evaluated when posting on any platform.
Should a post be boosted or is an ad the better option? What size should the images be? What content will get flagged by Facebook? What are the rules? How has the platform changed this week? Am I using the correct format? What are hashtags for anyway? Just to name a few.

It can be overwhelming. But it’s what we do. Knowing the correct way to help you reach your supporters or customers is just another day at the office for us.

Here's why:
Team - A cohesive and comprehensive digital strategy has a lot of possibilities and options. It’s not strictly a formula because each candidate and campaign or business is different based on the person at the top and their audience. We don’t just assign one person to your project. We have a team of people who have drilled down on their specialties to become experts. Together, we make your message stronger because our expertise covers more than just one topic.
New insights - Our team brings a variety of experiences to the table. We’re better for our
experiences because we’ve put those lessons to work for the client. There’s no need to waste
time with trial and error. Our experiences make the client more efficient and creative because
we’ve looked at digital strategies from 360º.
Timely execution - With a team, deadlines aren’t just pressing on one individual. The team is available and has their focus on the digital strategy freeing the client to focus on meeting the needs of their supporters.
Better use of resources - An expert at everything is a master of none. It’s just a fact of life, thereis a limited amount of time, so where should it be used to the best advantage. A team can allow you to have a better balance and focus on what you do best.

So, instead of treating digital media as that thing to remember to do at the end of the day after being exhausted, for approximately the price of a single mail campaign, have a team work harder and smarter to secure a victory.
